*Chongqing, a city in southwestern China, will soon have a “Cloud District” where the Great Firewall will not exist. There has been significant backlash from Chinese bloggers, as the area will be specifically for foreign investors.

*A British industry plan to reduce copyright infringement by censoring websites was leaked this week. Internet activists such as the Open Rights Group are concerned about the lack of transparency and accountability.

*In wake of an earlier court ruling, Tunisia may begin re-censoring its Internet, specifically to block pornographic sites.
